TWE Extends Partnership Agreement with Victoria Racing Club

Treasury Wine Estates announced today that it has signed a new five-year agreement with the Victoria Racing Club (VRC), signifying the longest commercial partnership in the history of Australia’s premier racing club.

The agreement extends the relationship between the two organisations to 43 years, with TWE retaining its rights as Official Wine Partner of the VRC and the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

As part of the extended partnership agreement, TWE is the exclusive supplier of sparkling and table wine for all corporate and Birdcage marquees, on-course bars and restaurants during the Melbourne Cup Carnival, as well as the naming rights sponsor of the Yellowglen Turnbull Stakes.

The Company’s Wolf Blass brand will also be hosting a unique marquee in the Birdcage designed by renowned Australian artist David Bromley. Bromley’s horse paintings have been screen-printed to produce a sequence of striking and majestic ‘larger-than-life-sized’ horses creating a 50-metre wrap around the external walls of the Wolf Blass marquee.

Trackside, Yellowglen will host a New York ‘Hampton’ style double storey Terrace with an elevated viewing platform and themed cocktail bar. Yellowglen Creative Director and New York based jewellery designer Samantha Wills will attend the Terrace as a special guest during the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
